I think my mother would never know. I may try to sneak it by her this summer. :-)Stephanie Friezehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04317117338063884811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8946203290826130992.post-5907290932218788822009-06-22T20:42:53.282-07:002009-06-22T20:42:53.282-07:00This is brilliant! Sounds great (and I am vegetarian, so your version is more suitable).

And yeah, I am sick of planning meals. I have one very fussy eating child which makes it worse. However, I made a declaration: I am NOT preparing multiple meals! So, I'll put a twist on something (for my three carnivores) but that's it.Kim Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05256817929710524024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8946203290826130992.post-17375181935334262542009-06-22T19:39:20.732-07:002009-06-22T19:39:20.732-07:00Actually, doing the khoresht in the Crockpot was e...Actually, doing the khoresht in the Crockpot was easy because I just chopped everything up and threw it in. I love my Crockpot. The rice actually goes easier than it sounds. It takes 40 minutes altogether and I don't mess with the biting the rice step. If my pot lid starts dancing I know it's time to drain the rice.

Frankly, I'm tired of figuring out what we're going to eat. Women are expected to work nowadays AND still doing all the housework and cooking. I'm lucky that my husband is pretty handy, but he's no cook. My daughter-in-law has learned and does pretty well. She really liked how tonight's meal turned out.Stephanie Friezehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04317117338063884811noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8946203290826130992.post-9218891317847939452009-06-22T18:58:43.735-07:002009-06-22T18:58:43.735-07:00You sound like a great cook. It sounds delicious.Lorrenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12917125800720202936noreply@blogger.com
